Network Marketing (often referred to as Direct selling) is a retail channel used by top global brands and smaller, entrepreneurial companies to market products and services to consumers.


Companies market all types of goods and services, including jewellery, cookware, 

nutritionals, cosmetics, housewares, energy and insurance, and much more.


The consultants work on their own, but affiliate with a company that uses the channel, retaining the freedom to run a business on their own terms. Consultants forge strong personal relationships with prospective customers, primarily through online, face-to-face discussions, demonstrations and sampling actions. 


In this age of online social networking, Network Marketing is a go-to market strategy that, for many companies and product lines, may be more effective than traditional advertising or securing premium shelf space due to its powerful word of mouth advertising strategy and the potential geometric compounded growth it offers.


The hybrid combination of Direct selling and Network Marketing is unique among retail channels because of the way in which products and services are marketed to customers. 

Instead of relying on traditional retail outlets or online 

marketplaces, direct selling companies maintain a 

salesforce of millions of independent workers that added $36 billion to the U.S. economy in 2015. Real estate, insurance, travel and technology companies 

and well-known brands also rely on independent workers to deliver products and services to consumers. 

Independent consultants earn commissions on sales but work for themselves. They set their own hours, create their own marketing plans, determine whether to build a sales team and how to mentor those within it and how to serve their customers.

Exceedingly attractive to Millennials who’ve disrupted the Industry by using advancements in technology and 

marketing through their social media accounts, (on their 

smart phones and on the go) appreciate there’s no glass 

ceiling, no age or gender bias and neither are you tethered to a specific time zone, town, city or place of work and have joined millions of independent consultants see those advantages and are working for themselves, too. The most obvious is the chance to build and grow their own business and run it how they see fit and on their terms.


In 2007, I recognised those advantages and joined 

the ranks of Direct Sellers by registering with a hybrid 

Company who specialised in Vegan Beauty, Skincare, 

Sports & Wellness Products. 


My business launched simultaneously as the great 

economic down-turn of the same year got up to full 

steam, but, with my focussed vision, the development 

of leadership skills coupled with a sustained hard work 

ethic a group aim can bring, I created a new life for myself. 


By laying the foundations and supporting others in their 

quest for their own personal aims, I helped many of them too achieve theirs too. 

Focusing on personal development, advocating for others and helping them get what they want, I’ve ultimately got what I want (by default), and that lesson has produced the outstanding and dynamic award-winning Global organisation I have today.  

 In a woman dominated industry, 

my success paved the way for 

equality and diversity. 

Being the first gay man to earn the top level of achievement (and the first man to achieve the top level in the Company’s International Markets) by sticking to a disciplined structure and with a focussed group consciousness, supporting others goals it’s enabled others to follow in my footsteps and achieve through my “blueprint to build”.


Those achievements, whist not typical have sustained and grown my business for well over a decade and over those years the greatest leaders with the most significant organisations of their type has emerged in the UK.
