LANCIA 2000HF

BIANCA 1973 Lancia 2000 HF Coupé
“Like Venus, perhaps, the 2000 Coupé was born from the sea foam.”
Meet Bianca—an exceptionally rare Lancia 2000 HF Coupé, designed by Pininfarina and built during the final chapter of independent Lancia production.
Bianca is also an immigrant. She travelled from Lecce in Southern Italy to Los Angeles in early 2025, bringing with him more than half a century of Italian history.
Beneath the elegant Pininfarina body sits Lancia’s water-cooled 1,991 cc flat-four boxer engine. Bosch fuel injection produces 125 hp, delivered through a five-speed dog-leg gearbox. With a period top speed of approximately 190 km/h—or 118 mph—the 2000 HF offered performance capable of challenging contemporary grand tourers from Alfa Romeo and BMW.
Inside, the craftsmanship is unmistakably Italian: walnut trim, a beautifully detailed instrument panel, sumptuous boardroom-style upholstery, generous glass and an atmosphere of understated sophistication. Hydraulic power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, independent suspension and numerous thoughtful safety and comfort features made the 2000 HF remarkably advanced for an early-1970s GT.
Only 1,229 Lancia 2000 HF Coupés were produced.
Bianca's provenance makes her rarer still. She was one of the only 10 ASI Gold-certified examples in Italy and is now the only ASI Gold-certified Lancia 2000 HF in the United States.
This is more than a beautiful classic car. It is a uniquely important survivor from an era of innovative engineering, handcrafted luxury and fearless Italian design—a car often described as:
“The last true Lancia.”
